Indian Lake is a great place to live. Growth is needed to build out tax base so we can control taxes as we pay for critical dam work. Our roads are at risk for two reasons; first because available resources are going to pay for the dam and it is natural to put other infrastructure items such as our roads and general maintenance on the back burner. The second risk is that as we do grow, construction vehicles and equipment needed in providing this development can take a heavy toll on our roads. The charter for this committee is to provide focus and vigilance to our roads and maintenance efforts and expenditures, to protect our investment and keep our roadways safe.
